The Dress. The Dress can either make or break your budget. To many it is one of the most important parts of the wedding process. Through just a few hours of research I have come across some budget saving wedding gowns that not only look gorgeous but super stylish and chic. Pair it with a few inexpensive accessories and you are good to go! Many of these gowns can be worn either for an indoor wedding or outdoors. I can definitely see this Macy’s gown on the beach or with a blingy necklace and bracelet it would be perfect for a city soirée. Keep it simple. I found many wedding gowns on department store websites that are a fraction of the cost than if it were from a boutique.

Many brides do not wish to put themselves on a strict budget. Given if we had millions coming out of the sky we would probably have the biggest wedding blow out that we can ever imagine. On the other hand, there are many budget brides who do not wish to spend a large sum of money on one day. They wish to keep a cushion for their life after the wedding. Learning to effectively budget is key to health and financial happiness in the future. With this blog I hope to give tips and tricks that I have learned over the years and ways that will stay in your budget and not break the bank.

To start I recommend talking with your families and your hubby to see the allotment of fund available for your budget. If you realize that you have far less than you expected, then begin to start saving.

Saving ahead of time can be easier than one might expect. Start small, save all of your change in a jar and roll it up and cash it in. You will be pleasantly surprised by the amount. I recently took a small jar of change to the coin star machine and came back with $70! Think about it, if the two of you save $200 each a month for one year that equals $4,800! Start small, cut out the unnecessary spending.
