Day 1 of Amy's Kitchen Diet

So Far so good, the Cheese Enchilada's are quite delicious, warm, creamy and extra saucy . . .just how I like it. I have been getting over a cold so this hits the spot.

Today I ate:

Breakfast: Trader Joes :Oatmeal - 120 Calories
Snack: Brown Cow Yogurt - 180 Calories
Lunch: Amy's Kitchen Cheese Enchiladas
Snack: Orange
Dinner: Amy's Kitchen Spinach Pizza

I will come back and edit the calorie counts. So far I don't feel like I am on a diet, I am considering pairing it up with Alli for an added boost.

B-attle of the Bulge

So I have been dealing with my weight for some time now. I know many people have. I can safely say that I have tried many things and have now proven a reputation to not sticking with a single one. Bottom line, I love food. I love good food. I know that I cannot live off of vegetables or even low carb. My fiance has successfully lost weight doing a strict low carb diet with exercise. As I commend his effort, I on the other hand have been at a standstill for years. I guess you can say I am one giant Yo-Yo, weight up and weight down.

I was close to ordering one of those diet programs for a few hundred bucks a month for frozen dinners. It seems simple enough just eat their food and lose weight right? Well I then got a reality check, I share a place with 4 dudes, Costco is abundant in the freezer and well my wallet just won't cut it.

This is why I decided the next best thing. The Amy's kitchen diet. That's right the organic frozen dinners that you see in your local grocer. I will be eating 2 Amy's kitchen meals, oatmeal for breakfast and fruit or yogurt for snacks. Each frozen meal is roughly around 200-300 calories and the oatmeal is organic from Trader Joes. I will exercise at least 3 days a week for 30 minutes or more doing both cardio and weight lifting. . .

Day one starts tomorrow, lets see how this goes. I will document it for 100 days until the day of my best friends wedding where I refuse to be the chunky bridesmaid.

Have any of you dieted for a big event?
